The main difference between Nackgammon and other versions is in the checker placement. Two checkers from positions 6 and 13 are moved back to point 23. This change in checker placement frequently prolongs the game.

Nackgammon requires more skill compared to backgammon. The game is more focused on positions, since the checkers frequently move back. All the other rules are the same as in backgammon.
