Quick game

A single game of backgammon lasts anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes. A match played to a set number of wins, or taking part in a tournament, can take more than an hour. Depending on how much time you have to play, you can get a very different experience out of the game.

Quick games are all about excitement: fast decisions, high stakes, and getting a result right away. There’s no room for long-term strategy here. You jump into a game for a few minutes and get an instant outcome. That might be the thrill of winning, or the frustration of questioning your skills, your luck, or plenty of other things.

All players who participate in quick games receive a special Crown Rating. This rating lets players compete against each other in seasonal rankings for the title of Crown Master.
