GAME RULES
Old English Backgammon
Since 1970, Old English Backgammon has been a favored version in Great Britain, distinguished by its unique rules.
Flexible Dice Use: Unlike classic backgammon, you're not required to use both dice for your moves. You can choose to move checkers using just one of the dice if it's more strategic.
Checker Limit: A maximum of five checkers is allowed on any single position. This rule adds a layer of strategy in checker distribution.
Simplified Scoring: The doubling cube is not utilized in this variant. Victories are straightforward, with the winner receiving 1 point per game.
Aside from these distinctions, all other gameplay rules align with traditional backgammon.
