SEASONS
Seasons

Seasons are major events in Backgammon Masters that divide the game year into four parts. Each season features competitions among backgammon players. At the end of each season, the most successful players are awarded prestigious trophies and a place in the "Hall of Fame." All players who are active during the season compete against each other. Various events, such as major tournaments and other competitions, are aligned with the current season's timeframe.
With each season, the game's theme changes, new game content is introduced, and the ranking begins anew.
Qualification
No action is required from players to participate in a season. Upon logging into the game, you automatically begin competing against other players in the current season.
Currently, the game offers the opportunity to showcase your skills in two game types: quick games and tournaments.
To advance in the season, you need to accumulate ranking points. By playing quick games (for coins), you'll earn Crowns, and by participating in tournaments, you'll earn Tournament Points. As you accumulate these points, you'll climb the list of the season's top players. But don't forget that poor play will negatively impact your ranking.
In addition to rankings being divided by game type, you also have the option to participate in a local ranking. By specifying your country, you'll compete not only against players from around the world but also against players from your chosen country.
You can only select your country once per season. During the off-season, there are no restrictions on country selection.
Off-Season
At the end of a season, the off-season begins. This is the period when the leaders of the past season have been determined, and ranking points are no longer awarded. During this time, the ranking tables are not updated. Preparations for the next season are underway.
The off-season lasts for 6 days.
Rewards
At the end of the season, the top 3 players in the global ranking receive seasonal trophies. These are the highest awards in Backgammon Masters. Players who receive these awards can expect widespread recognition and respect.
If the number of participants in a local ranking was at least 64, the ranking is considered a qualifying ranking, and one leader is selected. That player also receives a seasonal trophy, although one of lesser value.
